Numeric input step=any to allow for floats

Hi,
I would like to add step=any to the numeric input so that I can have decimal numeric inputs. I see in the module xnau_FormElement.class.php a comment to this effect, with some code commented out. I tried un-commenting the code, but it didn’t work.
I am not sure how to go about it.
Please can you help on this matter?

It doesn’t require any modifying of the plugin code. Take a look at this article, it explains how to set up a field with a decimal fraction:
