“More” text being added before blog excerpt

I’ve been digging into this for weeks, but I still have no answers. Originally I thought it was being caused by some bug in Elementor. But after they spent some time with it, they said it was most likely something going on with this plugin.

The problem is that for some strange reason, the word “More” is appearing before the excerpt of the blog post that’s showing in the blog loop. Here’s a screenshot of that: https://share.getcloudapp.com/z8urpQ0j

But when I look at the same loop in editing mode in Elementor, there’s no “More” text before the text excerpt. Here’s a screenshot of what the editing window looks like with NO “More” text: https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6ulW54d
