Object Cache – High cpu after update

  • After updating, there was a high consumption of cpu.

    Many processes towards the .php files of the page.

    The problem was fixed after disabling the Object Cache option.

    It may be a problem of the new version that I need a fix

  • I’ve tried many plugins for object cache and WP 4.7.1 seems to break them all.

    You are talking about W3TC 0.9.5.2 or previous?

    Cpu? Do you use disk for caching object cache? It’s better to use a memory caching strategy like redis, apcu or memcache

    Redis is the way to go, but I am afraid that the WP 4.7.1 update breaks all object caching plugins
