    Hello,

While scanning logs on a site I noticed a warning that appeared twice and may be associated to the auto-update functionality.

[06-Apr-2017 05:03:19 UTC] PHP Warning: require(wfBrowscapCache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfBrowscap.php on line 87
[06-Apr-2017 05:03:20 UTC] PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘wfBrowscapCache.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php56/root/usr/share/pear’) in …/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfBrowscap.php on line 87
[26-Apr-2017 05:00:29 UTC] PHP Warning: require(wfBrowscapCache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfBrowscap.php on line 87

Is this something I should be concerned about?

    Thanks

  • Hi @garrett-eclipse,

The reported missing file (wfBrowscapCache.php) is normally in a Wordfence installation from the zip file.

It’s possible the file was removed by mistake or by a failed auto-update.

At this stage, I’d recommend removing and reinstalling Wordfence.
