• Hey,

Thanks’ for the plugin. I am using your MailChimp Widget in the footer of all the pages of my website.

    shorturl.at/dnwJN

I have configured Mailchimp API Key and List ID. However, when I enter the email and press the GO button. It redirects to HomePage in a new window. While the footer shows no message like if I am subscribed or not.

Also, I don’t receive any subscription on my Mailchimp account and no notification (Even set). I have tried making a new listing and API Key. Not working. I am using Single-Opt. Tried Double-Opt as well. But not working.

Please help me to resolve the bug.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    HI,

I apologize for your trouble. This issue is still being investigated by our developers. In the meantime, please use the default MC plugin until we are able to resolve things so that you don’t lose any subscribers: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/

@abhikr781 thanks for writing back. I’ll wait for the update. Hopefully, the bug will be fixed soon.

@benutzername1 I have tried rolling back to 1.6.3. But unfortunately, it didn’t help me.

Has anyone found a fix for this issue? Im having the same issue on one of my sites – I’ve checked the API and the Audience ID are correct but still getting the same issue – so Ive ahd to remove from the site and using a Mailchimp popup which I dislike. Wondering if it has something to do with double opt-in but I dont want to swith that off due to GDPR concerns. Should it be a different audience than the one that is being used by WooCommerce?

    Hello,

A new version has been released with the fixes.
Please update the theme and Ocean extra plugin to the latest version to fix the issue.

Thanks for the update. I have tried the theme and Ocean Extra update.

Though the theme itself is having weird styling issues. Also, the Ocean update isn’t working for me to resolve the Mailchimp integration issue. Same kind of issue.

You can visit the site to check it. Website

Thanks – mine seems to have fixed the Mailchimp authorisation, but it also ignores the GDPR opt-in settings – so a subscriber is subscribed without getting the email from MailChimp asking for confirmation. Also the update changed the style of the widget text in the footer and added underline to all of the links in the buttons on the site which I have removed by overdigin in CSS with !important for now, but if anyone know where this is styles in the Customiser that would be great!

    Hello,

We will take a look again at the Mailchimp widget. For the underline issue, update the theme to 2.0.2 to fix it. Also, the underline will appear only on the single post and page content because it is required as per the WordPress theme guidelines. To remove it you can use the custom CSS.
