Ocean WP header will not disappear

I’m trying to replace the Ocean WP header with my own custom header. I created a custom header using Elementor Canvas and added it to the Ocean WP library. I then went to appearance>header and added my custom header. My custom header was added but the Ocean WP header also remained..so there are 2 headers. How can I remove the Ocean WP header?
