• Hi,

I am using oceanwp and i’m almost happy with it.

I can’t figure the pb with the mobile menu. Once I touch it, it goes with the same address followed by #.
My menu has been built with WP.
In th customizer, it show Menu >> Menu-url >> Principal and Mobile (optional).
If I desactivate Mobile (optional), the problem is still there.

    WP Rocket is disabled.
I tried Ocean Extra but I disabled it, because it makes dissappear the horizontal menu (replacing it with a vertical one).

Any hint for this big problem ?
    Thks in advance.

    One info.
When I am hovering the hamburger menu with my mobile-sized desktop screen, I can see the destination url : it already shows the # at the end of the hyperlink.

Dunno if it will be useful.

    Cheeers,

    Hello @guiliguili,

The pound key (#) at the end of your URL for the mobile menu is not an issue.

But you do have a plugin conflict with jQuery errors, and if I am reading the console on your website correctly (sometimes can be masked with caching plugins) you need to disable the Just Another Parallax (Jarallax) plugin and related plugins by the nK author.

If this is not the plugin in question, disable all non-Ocean plugins one by one, and check the mobile menu by refreshing the page after disabling each. Once your mobile menu starts functioning, you’ve found your culprit.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Marko S,
    Thks for your repy.

The pound key seems to be an issue because it’s the txt written as a href in the code. It was working swell before.

This error appeared while I did nothing with the site this week.
    So it’s quite strange.

Believe it or not, I disabled all the plugins one by one (yes, Akismet even Wordfence !). Nothing changed.

And if I load the Neve theme, this error disappears (with all the plugins back on).
So, I presume it is oceanwp related.

    Thks again for your input.
    Have a nice day,

    Hello @guiliguili,

Believe it or not, it’s not the pound key (that’s menu targeting and is present on all OWP websites), but your mobile menu doesn’t function (not clickable), so it’s a plugin conflict with the OceanWP theme.

If you could perform a thorough test and identify the plugin, we could also try to resolve the issue.

Thank you for the time and effort invested in this matter

    Hi,

I disabled all the plugins and the problem is still there.
And to be sure, I did it a second time.
Each step was followed by this sequence: open chrome, test the menu, run History eraser extension, close Chrome…

Is there a plugin or something which could identify any conflict (while I don’t believe it is the case).

The mobile menu issue seems to be a recurrent problem in oceanwp, as numerous forum posts show.

    Thks for your input.
    Have a nice day

    Hi,
As a last try to resolve the problem, I deleted the oceanwp theme from my ftp.
Then, I reinstall it via the wp admin dashboard.
And it worked : the mobile menu is functional.

So it was not a plugin conflict.
    Fingers crossed.

But I stil get this delay from PageSpeed Insights
    Opportunities
    …simple-line-icons/Simple-Line-Icons.woff2?v=2.4.0(www.svtsup.fr)
    3,45 seconds of delay.

And yes I tried to unload, load the Simple Lines icons with Scripts & Styles.
    No change.

    Cheers,
    guiliguili
