I am setting up a single-page website using the OceanWP theme, using Elementor for editing the page. Things were going well until today when the header menu “blew up” to fill most of the screen (the menu items still appeared in tabular form on the left). I was editing content in Elementor at the time, specifically, problems I was having with the gallery lightbox. After much trial-and-error, I found that the menu problem went away when I deactivated the Ocean Extra plugin.

Unfortunately, now things seem to work OK except the page title “Home” appears in a wide bar just below the menu at the top of the page. That goes away if I select Template=”landing page” instead of “default” in the Edit Page menu. The only problem with that is that the menu also disappears.(The original menu problem also comes back if I reactivate Ocean Extra).

I’ve tried disabling other plugins, deleting and reinstalling OceanWP, but still no luck. Any suggestions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello, activate Ocean Extra, go to Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, if everything is disabled, check everything, click Save Changes, then go to wp-content/uploads, and delete the oceanwp folder. Tell me if it solves the issue.

Excellent! Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I followed your advice, except I could not delete the uploads file (the delete folder option was grayed out). I deleted the two files contained in that folder, tested the site, and now the title bar is gone (as it should be)!

Thanks again! Oceanwp does things right!
