A new problem since update to wordpress 5.4.1 occurs.
The error seems to be within the OceanWP theme for Elementor.

The top menue is still doing a good job on computers and tablets.
On Smartphones a new error occurs:

The top menue entries can not be selected to link to the dedicated webpage.
They just open and close the whole drop down menue without the ability to choose the upper entry.

Seems to be a incompatibility between the new WordPress version 5.4.1 and the Ocean WP Theme.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hello @wordpresspeet,

Please go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Mobile Menu, and set the Dropdown Target to Icon.

Let me know if that fixed the issue

    Hi Marko,

    thanx a lot !!
    That really fixed the issue.

Now the user can choose the upper entry or the lower entries to reach the dedicated page on the smartphone again.

I didn’t make a change there. Was that done by a OceanWP Update?

    Hello @wordpresspeet,

    You’re most welcome!

Yes, some default functionalities needed to be changed due to mandatory WP accessibility requirements, so apologies if this has cause any inconvenience on your end.

Glad to hear the issue has been resolved.

    Have a wonderful weekend
