OceanWP Yoga demo doesn’t provide homepage properly

  • I downloaded the yoga demo of OceanWP from Demo import because I like the layout of the website. However, what I get is only the wording in the homepage, no full-width banner. no layout

    Could you help me solve this?

    Please try to follow the doc to fix the issue: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/774-demo-broken-elementor-page-no-style

    If not resolved by the above, please try to reset and import the demo manually.

    To import the demo manually, you have to import the 3 files from here https://github.com/oceanwp/oceanwp-sample-data and follow the steps.
    1. Import sample-data.xml file from Tools > Import, and Run WordPress Importer from here and import the XML file.
    2. Import the oceanwp-export.dat file from the Theme Panel > Import/Export, and import the .dat file.
    3. Install the widget Import-export plugin, Go to Tools > widget Importer & Exporter, from here import the widgets.wie file.

    Now go to appearance > menu, and assign the menu to the main menu.

    I rolled back to 2.9.13 before import but the demo was still broken.

    Could you suggest me how can I reset it before import manually?
    Should I delete the demo?

    If you do want to start from scratch, I would suggest you perform a WordPress Reset (assuming you do not have any content of your own on that website). If you do, then all your posts/images, etc will be deleted forever.
    If you don’t, then you’re all good.

    After you have reset your website, follow the above steps and install the demo manually.
