• Is it normal to see a .hello-elementor and inside the includes folder a .includes file? I just downloaded the latest and noticed that these two files along with a couple other dot files don’t exist on my client’s site.

Is this something that’s created by the plugin or an add on of the plugin?

    Thanks

  • Hi @serafinnyc,

The right place to download the theme is here: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/hello-elementor/

Can you please share the screenshot of the files so we can compare to the original files?

Hi @arielk-1 thanks for that, but that’s not what I was asking. I asked is it normal to see such files like the ones I named?

I had already downloaded the original from the repository before posting my questions here and didn’t see the same files like in my screenshot so that’s why I posted my question here.

    • Is an Elementor add-on creating these files to the theme?
    • Could this be custom coded by the previous dev? Blah blah blah.
    • Here you can see one of the files created

There are 2 others in other directories

Elementor does not add any files to this folder. It’s probably from your previous developer.

Again, Why would they add such a file? Is there a purpose to them?
