• This morning MySQL quit because the drive was full. I cleared space on the drive and restarted MySQL, but now I have a really odd problem.

This Digital Ocean droplet has 12 websites, 10 are WordPress. 9 of the WordPress sites cause a 500 error. One WordPress site does not.

I’ve tried restoring backups, creating new database, and more, but nothing works. I’ve finally determined that the cause is the Themes folder on each site. If I rename the folder (eg. “Themes0”) I can get to the admin page. If I create a new Themes folder and install any theme (eg. Twentysixteen) it will return to the 500 error.

    Any ideas?

If I delete the “stylesheet” and “template” entries from the options table, I can log in. Once I add ANY theme, it gives the 500 error.
