Odd issue after trying to update from 4.7.5 to 4.8

Hello all,

I recently tried to update using WP-Admin. After the update, the core and db version were updated, but the site still shows 4.7.5 on /wp-admin/about.php. After another try in wp-admin, it still redirects to the 4.7.5 about page. I’ve also confirmed with WP-CLI that the core version is 4.8. I’ve re-installed core for 4.8, but the dashboard still tells me there’s an update.

Is anyone else having these issues? Or any troubleshooting steps I haven’t taken yet?
