• Menu (pro version) suddenly was not working on mobile. Checked Safari, Chrome and the Google app.

Deactivated all cache and async plugins – cleared Mega Menu css cache

    Cleared history cache in browsers

Finally looked at console for javascript errors and it said there was an issue with notes-common-v2.js – this appeared to be associated with Jetpak.

Turned Jetpak off and menu started working on mobile.

Turned it back on, reconnected Jetpak, and the menu stopped again.

I then started turning JetPak features on and off to see what area may be impacting – end result is everything is back to my original settings and the Menu started working again.

Wish I could be more precise – but this may help someone in a similar situation.

I have Mega Menu / Jetpak on several websites – just one had an issue.

    Typo – jetpak = Jetpack

    Hi Night,

Thanks for diagnosing the issue yourself and reporting back.

Any JavaScript error on your site (regardless of where it comes from) will stop subsequent JavaScript from being executed (in our case that will stop the mobile menu from being able to be toggled).

I’ve Googled for “notes-common-v2.js” and there are lots of results about similar errors, but this seems that it might be relevant: https://siteorigin.com/thread/uncaught-referenceerror-backbone-is-not-defined/

If you spot the error again it would be something you’d need to report to JetPack.

    Regards,
    Tom
