In the 5.7 version of wordpress I found one of my sites had issues with a 403 error for /?wc-ajax=update_order_review. It also caused issues with the cache plugin W3 Total Cache and WooCommerce where pages would lock up and product added to carts would never be displayed.

In my shopping cart, you could add product, but never have it displayed. Because it always said the cart was empty, you couldn’t check out. But the products were still there and you’d get notifications that you had items in the cart, but never be able to check out.

After rolling back to 5.6.2 all issues went away.

There is something in 5.7 that is causing issues with other plugins.

    Hi there,

Did you try to clear your caches (both those of your site and your browser) to see if it might be related to previous versions of the files being stuck somewhere?

Alternatively, it might also be that with the new version of WordPress a conflict with a plugin has occurred. To check if that’s the case, set up a staging site for the purpose of a conflict test to see where the issue raised. Read more about how to do that here
