• Could be an issue with your theme. Have you tested while running the default theme?

Yep. Here it is, running Twenty Twelve. I’ll go try turning off all the other plugins.

And I’ll leave this right here.

And now, using Twenty Twelve and all other plugins off.

I can give you access to that staging server if you’d like.

Note: same problem running Twenty Fourteen as well…

Is this happening with every event and does it look the same each time?

What do you have under Events > Settings > Formatting > Maps > Location balloon format? Do you have any old characters, spaces, etc.?

    Thread Starter mediacellar

    (@mediacellar)

    Nope. It’s this:
    #_LOCATIONNAME
#_LOCATIONADDRESS - #_LOCATIONTOWN
Events

I believe that’s the default layout.

can I know what is your current EM version ?

    Thread Starter mediacellar

    (@mediacellar)

    Sure. It’s 5.5.2

    Hiya,

Have you applied any custom styling to EM at all, whether through your theme or otherwise?

    Thanks

    Thread Starter mediacellar

    (@mediacellar)

    Not a bit. Nope.

Do you have any other plugins running that are related to Google Maps in any way?

Which version of WordPress are you using?

    Thread Starter mediacellar

    (@mediacellar)

It’s 3.8.1. A week ago I posted a screen cap showing that I was having that issue running Events Manager as the only plugin with Twenty Twelve as the theme.

did you try deactivating other plugins since were not getting this issue on our test sites?

    Thread Starter mediacellar

    (@mediacellar)

Yes. If you read the post directly above yours, I specifically said that “I was having that issue running Events Manager as the only plugin with Twenty Twelve as the theme.” I can’t imagine how I’d run a cleaner install than that. The site is hosted on WP Engine; they probably have some must-use plugins running that I can’t shut off.

We’re not seeing this issue anywhere else and given your install is as clean as it can be so it’s possible the issue is with one of WP Engine’s own mods.

The way to test that is to get a backup of your site and set up a local version on your computer. You could use ServerPress.com to make that easy.

Then you can check to see if the same happens locally. If not, it confirms an issue with *something* about WP Engine, which you can talk to their support folk about.

    Thanks
