oddest thing ever?

  • Up until last night the admin area was working just fine. It looked normal and everything. Now it looks so odd. It changed last night and I have no idea why. A screen shot can be found here. You’ll need to scroll down to see it though. Descriptive wise it now has gone from links on the left with the edit ability on the right. Now it is the links on the left with lines that cross the page under each one and the actual editable area all the way at the bottom of the screen.

    Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anything that can fix it besides a total reinstall? I don’t want to reinstall if I don’t need to because I have my page up and running. I mean everything in the back end works, but it is just so hard to read and organize with now.

  • You have lost the style sheet. Make sure wp-admin/css/dashboard.css?ver=20081210 is there.

    …the rest isnt part of the file name.

    this folder was outside the wp_admin folder so I moved it to inside so it is now wp-admin/css/dashboard.css, but I am still having the same visual on my back end screen.

    I fixed it. a css file was corrupt, but I wasn’t sure which one so I re uploaded only the css folder and it fixed the problem while leaving my front end the way I had edited it.
