oddities on website in ie9 hosted on windows server 2008 r2
-
I have been building a website (WordPress theme) on an external server running Linux. Everything looks and works great, in all browsers.
It is now time to move said WordPress theme to an internal company server running Windows Server 2008 R2 and IIS7. Everything looks and works great… in FF, Safari, and Chrome.
In IE9 … it’s almost like the stylesheet is only halfway loading. Or something. I have no idea what it is doing, but I can only assume that it is something to do with my Windows server or IIS because it is fine on the Linux server. My Windows server knowledge is very limited, although I did install and configure this server ?? So it’s entirely possible that it is something I did wrong, or didn’t do. Perhaps with the PHP or MySQL install… I don’t know.
I can’t post links to the internal site because they won’t work anyway. Please see screenshots:

It’s like, it loads the stylesheet fine, obviously, because the background, colors, etc., are there. But the post content area shows one word per line and then a hard return. And that box on the right side is all funky too. The whole theme works fine on my Linux server in all browsers. What is wrong with my IIS7 install? Is it something with web.config? I have no clue… any ideas?!
(fyi, i did also post this on some MS server and IIS forums, but thought i’d try here too).
