oEmbed and translation

    Hello!
    When I paste an URL into the event description, despite being automagically converted in an embedded preview on the backend, on the frontend it is rendered as plain text.
    Is there a way to fix this behaviour?
    Also I need help to translate some labels (Related Posts, Share this events, etc.): which files do I need to modify?

    Hi @shouri75,

    Please share your website URL so we will check the URL issue in event description.
    In order to translate some labels please Follow these steps:-

    1. Install the “Loco Translate” free plugin.

    2. Open Loco Translate >> Plugins >> The Events Calendar Event Details Page Templates

    3. Now Click on Edit Template >> Sync Button & Save

    4. Now Open Loco Translate >> Plugins >> The Events Calendar Event Details Page Templates again

    5. Add New Language – English (United States) – Save inside other location, outside plugin folder

    6. Now Start Translating and Find words – Relates Events, Share This Events, All Events – Enter corresponding words to these words.

    No need to change any template!

    As you can see, there is a link I inserted in the event description that is not rendered as “embedded” but as plain text.
