Off-site avatars?

This is actually more of another feature request than a question, but is it possible for in the future to build in an option to also give users to link off-site avatars in form of an url? Not just that but also that the file size limit also works for it and if there is in the future a dimensions limit. It’s not really a must but it will help many sites save a lot of bandwidth and server space this way! ?? Thank you again for this wonderful plugin! ??
