    Hey,
New WordPress user but learning quickly.
I want to develop my (currently free) website so that areas are restricted unless people sign up and subscribe to the whole site. Certain pages will still be seen by all but a lot of others would be restricted unless they had signed up and had authorisation.

Please remember that I am new to this, but is this possible. I’ve added WooCommerce but can’t get my head around it as yet. Do I need to use another plugin alongside this or is there something else that would be better? Obviously I need to find a way to password restrict (with unique passwords) parts of the site as well as develop a sign up area (and add a password area to the site).

    Please help!!!

  • Write a short-code function if user logged in or not by the function is_user_logged_in() and in any page which you want to add permission add the shot-code there and it will work if user is logged in other wise it redirect you to given option.

On the other way woo-commerce you can use easily its providing the facility to edit the templates in your theme so no loss of data in updation .

take a look at WP Members
