Official Mailchimp plug-in problems

    For some reasons has my Mailchimp plug-in stopped working. I have tried uninstalling/reinstall it. But this the same problem. No leftovers in mail-server in between.

    I maintain two different WordPress web-sites, both pointing at the same mailchimp account. The problems looks different in the two sites.

    First web-site: Mailchimp settings does not accept my (correct) mailchimp API key. No error message. Nothing.

    Second web-site: Mailchim settings does not render anything, i.e. the line with API key entry does not render.

    Is there a problem with Mailchimp version 1.5.7 with the most recent version of wordpress?

    Thanks for the post. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve been having with the plugin. At the present we are unaware of any conflicts with our plugin and the latest version of WordPress, but we definitely want to take a closer look at your set up and run some tests on our end to narrow down what’s causing these issues.

    In order to do that, do you mind replying back here with the following information?

    – If you re-attempt this process in an alternate browser, are you able to input the API key and move forward as intended? (This will help us rule out potential conflicts with the browser or installed browser plugins/extensions)
    – What theme do you have installed on each page? If you temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme, does the issue persist?
    – What other plugins are currently active? (A screenshot or typed list would work – whichever is easier.)
    – Could you please include a link to your site?

    Hello,

    – I have tried other browser. Same problems.
    – I do not dare to change theme as I have a heavily configured theme.
    – I have multiple plugings, I am happy to send you a list (dont know how to attach images here)
    – The site is https://www.tcgroup.se (two subdomains)

    I had to plugin installed in one of the two sites earler, and it worked beautifully. Then I upgraded WordPress and now id doesn’t work anymore. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it but then nothing render in the “Mailchimp setup”.

    additionally, I have not added any plugins or changed my website after the wordpress upgrade.

    For some reason was te problem solved. Cant find any real explanation.

    Hi @tobyofsweden,

    Thanks for the reply – that certainly is odd behavior. It’s possible that it was related to a temporary environmental issue. At any rate, we are happy that the plugin is now functioning as intended – I’ll close out this issue for now. But please, if you have any other trouble with the plugin, feel free to open a new issue on the forum or reply back here and we will take another look.
