• Does anyone know if there is a way I can find out exactly how many unique visitors a page on my site has had? I know that I can find this under “hits”, but I need to document this officially. Could I perhaps contact wordpress directly and ask them to send a statement? How would I do that?

    Thanks!

    Are you using WordPress.com?

I am actually not sure (don’t laugh :P). Am just managing the site, did not create it. We have our own domain (not .wordpress.com), through one.com. But we are using the web editor to post.

What’s your website? Maybe we can see if you are using the self-hosted WordPress or the one that’s available at WordPress.com

That appears to be a self-hosted WordPress website.

A few points about the self-hosted WordPress software:
    – There are no WordPress staff
    – WordPress is an open source project, ran by a community of volunteers
    – WordPress.com features are not always available inside WordPress by default. These features are often separated out into plugins.

Jetpack has a feature to track how many hits your website has, but there are other plugins if you want to try. There won’t be anything by default in WordPress. Or you could go with Google Analytics.

Thanks so much!! I’ll have a look at that.
