Official support blocks my attempt to register

Every time I try to register for your official support, I put in my desired username and email address, and then get an ‘access denied’ message that says I’ve been blocked from entering information on the site.

It then asks for my email address and message, and then there’s a simple ‘Are you human?’ math problem to solve.

Every time, I solve it correctly, and on the next page it says I have entered an incorrect reCAPTCHA value.

I guess I’ll ask my question here, though this forum doesn’t seem to have much activity:

I know how to add a custom validation message, by adding a filter to acf/validate_value. However, this doesn’t fire when someone enters an incorrect email address.

If they put in something without an ‘@’ symbol, it will return an error message saying the email address is incorrect. However, ACF validation is still, apparently, passing $valid as ‘true’, so my custom message doesn’t work.
