• By goi to the official Twitter webpage you can create what is called a widget, which draws up some HTML code for you to input into your webpage. Doing that I copy the HTML code and put it in the text editor for one of my pages. Now when I load up my page a pretty decent Twitter widget appears exactly the way I would want it. However, as soon as the window is resized the “widget” dissapears. At that point the only way to get the widget to reappear is to reload the page. Any ideas on what may be causing this?

  • I had a load of issues with the Twitter feed too.
I ended up setting up the JetPack one then copying the code it showed into a text widget so I could align it where I wanted it.

Couldn’t get the Facebook one to work at all and had to do the same thing.

I’m now wrestling with the Pinterest badge… :-S

I actually figured out a decent workaround by combining the WP Twitter plugin with the Widgets on Pages plugin. It also allowed me to get the social icon “share this” stuff on my pages pretty easily. I did have to fidget around with the css a tad to get it to look the way I wanted it, but that wasn’t too hard.
