    Hi
I have general website for our travels and on one of those pages I have a blog. I will be travelling for 6 months with sporadic and slow access to the internet. I would like to be able to put my posts together without internet connection, then be able to upload them easily onto my webpage when I do have connection. Is this possible? How do I do it?

I know I could type it in Word and paste it in, but I would like to be able to put photos in, get the layout right etc rather than wasting time when I do have a connection mucking around with that sort of stuff (and because it will be slow!).

    thanks for your helo
    Liz

    thanks for the link.

I found a list like that earlier and figured I would try with Word 2007 as I thought that would be the easiest, but I can’t even get it to connect with the server. I must be entering something wrong, but I have done what is on the page you linked to, but I can’t win!

Duhhh dumb moment. Just realised I have to turn on the setting in WordPress to accept remote updates. Now it works!

Has anyone use Word 2007 to do updates? Are the other apps any better?

I like the free Windows Live Writer. It’s part of Windows Live Essentials.
