Offline pages are nice & work, but interface is obnoxious and awkward
-
Free Version: The Coming Soon, About, and Contact pages generated are nice looking and clean if a bit slow to load. The setup interface is overly obnoxious with the full screen ad for the Pro up-sell at the top having to be scrolled through for every setup edit. Really?! We know we’re using the free version and the fact that I have to scroll through the ad make me far less likely to buy the Pro version. Put the feature list in a separate tab like your menu implies.
That said, the setup interface, although reasonably intuitive, uses far more screen real-estate than justified. It would be far more preferable to use a single scrolled setup pane with sections for at least the Settings, Design, Social Profile, About Us, Contact Info, and Newsletter/Subscriber Settings. The floating save/reset buttons are nice, but too large and gaudy. I couldn’t find a way to disable the Social Profile (which I haven’t yet setup since this is a coming soon site). Others might also want to disable the Contact and About Us pages/links and there is not an obvious way to do that either.
