Offset widget

I was wondering who could tell me how to offset the default WP Recent Pages widget to remove the first entry. I’ve tried downloading 8 different widgets that say they’re tweakable but most are outdated plus I’m not a rocket scientist they all have a bunch of code to “add” or edit, but they don’t tell you where etc…

I kinda know where the codes are but I’m using the widget and it overrides my theme sidebar codes
