og:description tag not outputted on front page

    WordPress SEO version: 1.2.8.7

    I did this:

    Filled in the Description field in the Frontpage section of the plugin’s Social settings.

    I expected the plugin to do this:

    Output that description in an og:description header tag on the front page.

    Instead it did this:

    No og:description tag is outputted at all. Other OpenGraph tags are there as expected, including the og:image which takes its value from the Image URL field on the Social settings page.
