• You state that the audio player is compatible with all major browsers and devices and can be used to play an audio file (.mp3 or .ogg).

Internet Explorer and Edge browsers do not support (.ogg) with HTML.

    Am I missing somethng?

    Hi,
Sorry for delay, I am in process of moving between hosting and my site is presently on a localhost.

I chose this plug-in because it is good to use a simple HTML player and it works well for my purposes, especially because I am using Ogg Vorbis audio files, which are not supported by all players. I have been aware of the issue of Microsoft IE browser problems with .ogg files for a long time and was hoping that Edge would support them, however it also does not provide support.

You may confirm HTML recognition for browsers on https://html5test.com/. The results for IE 11 are as follows:

    Audio
    20/30
    audio element Yes ?
    Loop audio Yes ?
Preload in the background Yes ?
    Advanced
    Web Audio API No ?
    Speech Recognition No ?
    Speech Synthesis No ?
    Audio codecs
    PCM audio support No ?
    MP3 support Yes ?
    AAC support Yes ?
    Dolby Digital support No ?
Dolby Digital Plus support No ?
    Ogg Vorbis support No ?
    Ogg Opus support No ?
WebM with Vorbis support No ?
WebM with Opus support No ?

Yes I understand what you mean. Unfortunately this plugin cannot control which browser will support ogg audio files. That is entirely up to the browser developers.

It might avoid disappointment, if you note the lack of support for.ogg files by Microsoft browsers, in your documentation.
