I’m having the exact same problem and could not get it to work. The weird thing is that the Twitter card image tag does show correctly.

Just found out that it only seems to work if an image is present inside the post. It does not cares for the thumbnail image. The link does show correctly on the twitter:image:src tag.

Found the problem! The image has to be over 200×200 pixels at least. If not, it isn’t shown. In your case, the get-noticed-red image gave me a 404

I’m having the same problem. Image not showing.

Hi eme_pe, I’m glad that you have resolved your issue. Unfortunately, it seems that we have different issues. The images that I used were always larger than 200×200.

And you are right, the get-noticed-red image leads to a 404. It turns out all images I uploaded to media library, when accessing their direct URLs, lead to a 404. It’s so weird because they display in the media library and even on the website but not when you try to load them independently.

For example, you clearly see the logo on my site’s header – https://www.dancepinas.com/ . But when you get the image’s URL address and paste it on a separate browser tab, it leads to a 404.

This probably is the real reason why Facebook does not load my image. Has anyone experienced this exact same problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? Please help! ??
