    Hi @akrele,

On the post edit screens, you’re able to supply a “Featured Image”, this is the main object where The SEO Framework currently gets its image from.

As of The SEO Framework 2.6.0, this is the order in which the images are obtained. When found, it will use that particular image and skip the rest:

    0. Defaults override filter
    1. Featured Image
    2. Fallback filter 1
    3. Header Image (theme dependent)
    4. Fallback filter 2
    5. Site Icon (from Customizer)

    I hope this helps ??

P.S. Your English is actually perfect (apart from the capital “I”)!

    Hi,

sorry, ich can′t find this option. I can add a post picture, but if I do this, the picture is shown on the top of the post. If I share the post, it doesn′t work right.

    Hi @akrele,

That would be the option ??

Facebook maintains an Open Graph cache, whereas Twitter only maintains an image cache.
You can clear Facebook’s cache right here: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Twitter’s cache auto-expires, or you can force it with the help of query parameters (advanced).

In the near future an image uploader specifically for The SEO Framework will be released, stay tuned ??

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Happy Holidays!

Thanks, it works this way, but I have two pictures in the post, one at the beginning and one above the post.

Will the image uploader include this feature too?

Thanks for your support, wish you nice holidays ??

    Hi @akrele,

The way the post and its items are outputted should be handled by (options of) the theme you’re using. If there’s unwanted output, you should advice this with the theme author.

The planned image uploader for The SEO Framework will only support outputting the link to the image for Facebook, Twitter and other social sites to use. It won’t actually display the image on the site itself. This plugin is after all a meta optimization tool ??
