    I run and Australian version of WP. The language identifier is en-AU. However the wpsso meta tag (og:locale) is being set to en-US.

    <meta property="og:locale" content="en_US"/>

    I’m guessing “locale” = location. How do I change this to en-AU. I notice in the setup panel in WP admin, there is a drop drown for languages BUT English (Australian), isn’t listed.

    WPSSO JSON does not create Open Graph meta tags. Perhaps you’re referring to a feature of WPSSO instead? You can change the default language for Facebook / Open Graph under the SSO -> General -> Facebook tab. Facebook / Open Graph allows for the following English locales:

    'en_GB' => 'English (UK)',
    'en_PI' => 'English (Pirate)',
    'en_UD' => 'English (Upside Down)',
    'en_US' => 'English (US)',

    js.

    IDK if your trying to be funny or taking the p#ss out of me. Do you see “Australia” in that list, I don’t!

    That’s correct, Facebook does not recognize en_AU.
