OIK Nivo Slider 'Offset' parameter doesn't seem to work

The offset parameter for the nivo slider doesn’t seem to work.
I can do this and change offset all I want, but it always starts from the first image.
[nivo post_parent=”960″ thumbnail=”full” order=”ASC” orderby=”menu_order” link=”n” caption=”n” offset=”09″]Is this a bug or am I misusing it?
