You need a responsive WordPress theme of course.

Can you please give more details on the issues you experienced with responsive?

I have the same issue

I am using the theme “Responsive” by CyberChimps and the slideshows are HUGE on a mobile screen while the rest of the site responds great.

Please check the site on a mobile and let me know why this is doing this.

I checked your site and your slideshow is not set to responsive, it is set to fixed. Please go to Slideshow > Configuration > Appearance & Styles and change the layout from fixed to responsive. That should resolve it.

But it would be great to have the option to hide the thumbnails on a mobile. They are as big as the slides.
