OK to disable woocommerce plugin?

i’ve been looking already 3 days into this issue https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/company-name-is-required-is-displayed-when-company-is-optional/#post-18114150 . And turned this thing inside out. I’m splitting this question away from the other one. because in this question, I want to understand if what i’m doing doesn’t break anything before i put it into production, i’ll post my diagnosis to solve the original problem in the original topic. So this topic is for : can I do the following?

1. I’ve disabled all the plugins
   1. Only the woocommerce plugin remains active
   2. Pick a product>put in basked>go to checkout > place order > fill in all the fields except company field (whichi marked optional >>? ERROR “There was a problem with the provided shipping address: is required”
2. Deactive Woocommerce Plugin
   • No more content in the checkout page. But there is an Edit button/link > edit
   • Message: Your site doesn’t include support for the Checkout block. You can try installing the block, convert it to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely. Buttons “Install Checkout | Keep as HTML”
   • Click the “Install checkout”
   • ERROR: “Error registering block. Try reloading the page.“
   • Activate the Woocommerce & Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce plugins again
     • Check mandatory status of shipping_company & billing_company: not mandatory
     • Test again
   • Now the checkout page layout has completely changed. BUT IT WORKS NOW

SO, am I breaking anything if I do this?
