Is it OK to install Yoast SEO plugin during backend developing site?

  • Hi, my landing page has been launched upfront, and I’m developing for full site. Is it OK to install Yoast SEO plugin during developing? or Should I install it after launching full site? I’m confusing…

    For example, let’s say my landing page is abcd.com,
    and developing page is abcd.com/wp.

    Yoast seo Snippet Preview shows link “abcd.com/wp/homepage”.
    As you know, the folder name “wp” will be gone after launching full site.

    It may stupid question, but i’m beginner, and i can’t find out clear answer in anywhere. ?? I look forward to your advice. Thanks much in advance.

  • Yes that’s fine, just make sure you use the correct paths when you go live.

    How were you planning to migrate from local to live?
