• Chimpmatic Light is fine for those who have a super simple setup and who aren’t concerned with their data. For those of us with segmentation and who rely on this for leads to enter automatic follow up campaigns, this is not the right plugin for you.

We paid for the upgrade so we can have the leads go directly into the Mailchimp system with the appropriate tag. One of the forms stopped working. We submitted an extensive support ticket with the required screencaptures and waited two weeks for support to respond.
Support never sent a confirmation email and only responded because we posted a question here on the WordPress section. When they eventually reached out after 2 weeks, they insisted that we must go to the chat, which they claimed it was open and operating and not a bot.
If it truly isn’t a bot, then why was the response a generic “what brings you here today?”. After an hour of waiting for a response from their chat, I had back to back meetings and wrote them back in an email that chat was not going to be an option. Maybe developers have all day to sit on an unattended chat, but those of us who are business owners, don’t have that kind of time to waste.

I wrote back via email and after 4 days of no response, I emailed again. The person again responded with the stall tactic telling me to go to chat. This issue is still unresolved and I’ve put hours into just trying to contact support.

This is problematic because Gravity forms doesn’t capture your lead data, so if contact information isn’t being pushed to Mailchimp, you have to manually add all the contacts into Mailchimp. This sucks for people like us who get 4 leads per day. And the fact that their support has had the ticket for more than a month and never moved it forward it extremely disappointing.

Save your time, contact data and money by going with a better API solution that offers quality support.
