Old blog still exists

Due to the way Likes are stored at WordPress.com, they cannot be currently migrated to self-hosted www.ads-software.com sites.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com

You can add the same Like button to your new self-hosted www.ads-software.com site with the Jetpack plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/ though the Likes still cannot be migrated.

Your old WordPress.com site can be either made private https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ or deleted https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

Hi, I feel sad to hear that likes can’t be migrated. Can you tell me How can I add the Like button on my posts now, I have jetpack installed already?
I also want to know how can I add my self-hosted site on WordPress application on my phone. Whenever I try to attempt it, I get the notification to log in from my wordpress.com blog. Does it mean that I have to always keep my wordpress.com blog active?

If you have Jetpack installed already, simply activate the Likes module at Jetpack > Settings > Engagement in your site’s Dashboard.

Your phone app is asking for your WordPress.com account, not the WordPress.com blog. Give it the same WordPress.com account that you connected Jetpack with.
