Hopefully you can assist me. I’m trying to remove some old GTM code that was injected into the Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent plugin. That GTM account is no longer active and it’s now showing up as an error in the console because of it. When I sign into the website and check the settings for the plugin I don’t see the GTM code anywhere, but the second I disable the Complainz plugin the error is gone so I know it’s being added by the plugin at some level on the plugin. Is there somewhere in particular I should be looking for the GTM code within the plugin?

  • Hello, you can find the GTM code using the wizard: select the “2-COOKIE” section on top, then from the left panel select “statistics – configuration”. At this point you have to delete the gtm field and/or set “Should complianz configure your stats?” to “no”. Something maybe different because I’m using the italian translation. Hope to be of help.
