old image appears, caching does not work

    Hi there, it seems that the caching does not work. I changed images and the new one does not appear on the frontside. After deactivating the plugin, everything works. Activating the plugin again, the old image appears again. Meaning I need to clear cache on my iphone additionally that the new version appears. But this does not make sense to me. Is there a setting I am missing? Thanks.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Can you please re-enable W3 Total Cache and share the page you are referring to? Can you also please share if those new images have the same name as the old images and if so, can you please disable the Expires header and cache control header for Media&Other files if the option is enabled and let me know if the problem persists?

    Hi there, I reinstalled the plugin and now it seems to work. However I do deactivate the plugin when editing the design and activate after I am done with it. This way it seems to work. So I will close the topic. Thanks.
