• Hello All,
I’m new to this group, so I hope I’m writing in the right section. Please, forgive me any mistake. I have a site. Once everything worked fine. Now my old links aren’t working anymore and wordpress keep saying I should deactivate all the plugins and activate another theme (a different one from the one I’m actually using. I think this is a pretty dangerous hint. I just want my old links to work again. How can I do it? I’ve tried to make new links but no new made links are working.

Try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.

Hi, paganolina, & welcome to the WordPress support forum.

Firstly, could you please provide a link to your site so we can have a look? It’s really hard to diagnose these kinds of problems w/o that.

    Thanks very much.

Hello, thankyou very much for your support. I’ve tried redoing the links, but they don’t work.
How can I edit the .htaccess file? I’ve learned all I know about wordpress trying and making mistakes, I’m kind of a newbie on what concern site-making.
My site is https://www.linapagano.com. In the home page you can see a few images below the slider. These images should be linked to some pages. Indeed, if you right click, you can actually be redirected to the linked page.
Thanks for your kind help. I have other small problems here and there, but I guess I can solve them out on my own. For this one, I really can’t understand how to make it. Thanks again.

How can I edit the .htaccess file?

Does WordPress instruct you to edit .htaccess yourself after saving, or does it just report that it has saved the changes?

In the home page you can see a few images below the slider. These images should be linked to some pages.

If it’s just the slider that’s the problem, the link target seem to be tiny, about only a pixel in size, very strange.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/customizr#postform so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Hi, paganolina. You appear to be getting redirects to matrimonio.com as in:
    https://www.matrimonio.com/trucco-sposa/lina-pagano–e119786/fot os/0

Is that what’s supposed to be occurring?

    Hello Guys,
thanks for the info. I’ll try following your instructions and eventually contact the developers.

    Hi Jackie McBride,
yes, actually the link is correct. The problem is that you can’t go directly to that page by clicking the images. This site is my personal site, I’m a make up artist and I’m trying to make all the links work properly.
