old points with new league

    I used Football Pool with the World Championship a couple of years ago, and now I am about to use it with the Euro Championship.

    I added a new league (euro2016) and changed the play in league settings for old user to the new league (euro2016).

    But when using the Ranking Widget I get a list of user with points – I would expect all users to have their points reset? What am I missing?

  • you have to create a new pool. I don’t see any option for that. you may have to create a new website or install a new wordpress.

    another thing you can do is to create additional rankings. From plugin options–> rankings you can create two rankings for two set of matches (e.g. world championship and euro2016). Then create two separate pages and by using shortcodes display one ranking in each page.

    If the matches are reset and you do a new calculation, the old scores will be removed.
    Another option is to deactivate the plugin with the option to keep data on uninstall set to off, and then reactivate it.
