Old products not syncing

Sorry for the delay getting back to you!

I’m having trouble syncing my products with facebook.
When I first setup the plugin and clicked sync it only seemed to work with one item.

Since then, when I have added a new product, or updated an old one. It will sync those.

I have disconnected and re-connected, checked that the plugin is pointing to the correct catalog, and performed a manual sync multiple times. I’ve even migrated the site to a new host (for other reasons also) but it still doesn’t sync the older products.

First of all, when you said Old Products, did you mean they are WooCommerce products before you installed Facebook for WooCommerce plugin?

Please elaborate as it’s not clear to me.

I assumed that when you did disconnect/reconnect, you had this plugin working before syncing that “Old Products” then it stopped working in the later version?

Any clue as to how I can get all +140 products to sync without having to manually update each one?

I don’t have issues to sync a lot of products on my test site, so this issue is specific to your website.

To understand your WooCommerce site, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in the reply?

First of all, when you said Old Products, did you mean they are WooCommerce products before you installed Facebook for WooCommerce plugin?

If i’m honest i’m not 100% sure. I think i had the plugin installed for a while but not active until recently, so it is likely that the ‘old products’ were added before the plugin was active.
If i put it another way. the store has been setup and working for almost a year but I’ve just recently wanted to sync it to facebook and sell there also.

Hello @jaimelopes,

Thanks for sharing the SSR. I am not seeing anything out of ordinary there.

As a next step could you please do the following steps that are divided into three parts?

### FIRST PART:

– Navigate to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings and then look for WooCommerce Integration.

– Please click in and a popup window will appear, please scroll down and click Remove, and then confirm by clicking Remove again.

It will finally get removed completely so you can make a new integration:

### SECOND PART:

– Please deactivate the plugin and then delete it:

– And then access your phpMyAdmin, we’re going to manually remove the database left over that’s not yet removed after the deletion.

– LEASE make sure that you create a full database backup before performing this step.

– Click on wp_options table, click on Number of rows and then select the highest number to filter the data, in my case I selected 500, to ensure that at least 500 entries are displayed, and then search for wc_facebook_, once found, please select them and delete them.

### THIRD PART:

– Clear WooCommerce transient data: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)

– Please install Facebook for WooCommerce again, and activate it.

– Navigate to Marketing > Facebook, click Get Started.

– During the process of reconnecting back to Facebook, please make sure to unselect Instagram shopping, as from my experience, it will trigger an error “Something went wrong”, resulting in an unsuccessful setup –you can add Instagram this later:
