Old reviews not showing after update

    I recently updated to version 4.3.8 and reviews are no longer being displayed from the plugin shortcodes.

    They are also no longer appearing in the review_summary shortcode.

    The review form is still showing and reviews submitted through this are appearing when being called from the shortcode. https://twoonetwo.staging.wpengine.com/submit-a-review/

    The admin menu for the review posts is now displaying all older reviews as 0 stars, but the meta box on the edit screen for an individual post shows the correct rating.

    I found the following similar issue https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/no-reviews-showing-please-help/ but have tried various methods of rollback and manual update as well as the one mentioned in that topic to no avail.

    I noticed that the GUID for the posts in the site database is different for newer reviews since the update, but saving permalink settings on the site made no difference.

    I’m guessing that you upgraded from version 2? Please try running the Migration tool on the Site Reviews > Tools page and let me know if that fixes it.

    I updated from version 3.

    The migration tool has fixed the issue with the site_reviews shortcode, but the site_reviews_summary shortcode is still only displaying post-update reviews.

    After running the migration tool, you will need to run the Recalculate counts tool. This should fix the summary counts.

    The upgrade system is being rebuilt in the next minor version update of the plugin which should fix this specific (migration) issue.
