Hello there. I hope somebody can help regarding this.

I have sucessfully migrated my site from Blogger to WordPress.

I am having problems though with the redirect URL.

When accessed from the Chrome browser, old URL changes to the new URL. But when accessed from other browsers, it appears as “https://newURL.com/?b2w=https://www.oldURL.com/”

The site loads without issues, but the URL appears and stays in that format.

  • How are you doing the redirection?

    That’s where the problem is.

    Hi,

I used a plug-in called “Blogger to WordPress”. I followed the how-to guide . Thought everything was okay after until I do some test searches (i.e. typing the old URL, searching my SEOed articles on Google search) and noticed the URL is displayed incorrectly.

I asked my hosting provider for help. They refer me to a Yoast article. They ask me to change the permalinks. I followed the instruction there as well and then they pasted the code provided by Yoast on my site’s .htaccess. Still, did not work.

I used a plug-in called “Blogger to WordPress”.

In that case, I’ll recommend you ask in the “Blogger to WordPress” plugin’s own support forum… so the developers of this plugin can help you with this issue:

    Good luck!
