Old Version of PHP Still Showing

  • I recently updated my server to PHP7, but WordPress is still showing that I am on PHP5.4.

    How to I get WordPress to recognize the new PHP version I installed? I am running an AWS EC2 Linux Server.

    Did you restart apache after updating PHP? Are you using PHP-FPM or mod_php? Does your .htaccess file specify any particular version of PHP?

    facing same problem updated to php7.4 but still showing php update required
    nothing changed after restarting apache2
    i am using debian 9 with vestacp
