• Hi,
I have been using this plugin for some time now, but only recently I realized that almost half of the older posts are not reachable from the plugin user-interface that is shown on our web’s front page bottom. I don’t understand why this is happening since when I go within the settings panel, all the posts are indeed visible from the preview.
Also I can’t see any setting that caps the number of items/posts to be shown.
    Any help appreciated

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,
For each content view under Filter Settings –> Common there is a “LIMIT” setting. I think the default is intially set to 10 , so that’s probably why you’re older posts aren’t being shown. So just change that and your pagination settings if you want to show more than 3 at a time and you should be fine. Hope that helps
    Regards

    Hi @ng63
yes I saw that but I can’t remember how it was set at the beginning (right after install).

However there is a caption below the field that says:

Total number of posts to show. Leave empty to show all found posts,

and that’s how I left it
The question isn’t whether I want to show X posts at a time, but rather that I want all posts to be accessible, even though I, say, show 3 o 4 at a time.
For example if I go to the plugin, as it is displayed in our page, at the very bottom
you can see that it shows:
    < | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | >
but it should actually show more numbers/links because there are more posts to be shown than those only.

Okay, so if it’s not the limit, is the filter category set to show only “uncategorized” posts ? …and the missing older posts were allocated to a specific category so aren’t showing.

ok I had a go looking into this of the categories and
    1) I see no way to set an “uncategorized” post only
    2) I tried to change the categories of the posts themselves in order to be all in the same category, and select that category (by selecting the “Taxonomy” option in the ‘Advance’ section of the ‘Filter Settings’ tab
    3) the preview also doesn’t show all the posts

All this with still no result …

@ng63, thank you for your help.

@sinergyinaction, Might you capture the whole screenshot of ?? Filter Settings tab of the View, then upload it to https://imgur.com/upload, then send us the link?
We will investigate the settings and get back to you.

    Best regards,

    Thank you for your reply.

These settings should show all posts.
And you see all posts in the Preview, didn’t you?

Please add that view to a normal page (you can create a test page then add the view there).
Do you see all posts shown in the view?

If you see all posts on that test page. Then we know the reason:

Because your homepage is also the Posts page, it is possible that the theme or another plugin is limiting posts to 10 on that page.
That is why there are only 10 posts are shown in the view on the homepage.

Please deactivate other plugins, switch the theme temporarily to see if this fixes the issue.

    Thank you for your reply.
We still suspect something on your website is causing this issue.

Are you adding any custom code that limit the posts?
If so, please remove that code.

And again, please temporarily deactivate other plugins one by one, switch the theme to see if this fixes the issue.
That helps to figure out what caused the issue.

    Best regards,
