Older Posts Button Not Working

  • Hi there. I’ve a problem with my website which is here: https://www.mileskahn.com

    I’m using a wordpress template “Retro” theme (https://themeforest.net/item/retro-portfolio-one-page-vintage-wordpress-theme/1708109) which I love, but the “older posts link at the bottom of my news section” does not function at all. It simply grays out and doesn’t go to the next page.

    I’ve tried installing other themes, then returning to the Retro theme. I’ve also tried to switch the permalinks but neither of those fixes worked. The developer of the retro theme is also out of ideas.

    I’m a complete novice at wordpress so any help you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi. Yeah, it was very frustrating. In the end I got my host, hostgator to look into it and they were able to fix it on their end. They were hesitant to do at first though – they said it wasn’t there problem, but a software issue with WordPress. Of course, WordPress told me differently. So I’m not sure what they did, but they fixed it.

    I did all the stuff you did and I’m still a bit of a novice, so I recommend getting the host involved.
