Hi – i am using the post-to-page pluging with eg [posts-to-page cat_ID=8] on a page to display certain posts on a page. on the page called “pictures” (https://vu2620.srv01.hofstede.de), it shows an “older posts” link at the bottom to see the other older posts.

i have the in principal same [posts-to-page cat_ID=9] on the page called “welcome”. problem is: it only shows 5 posts and no “older posts” button at the bottom of the page. no change if i have the welcome page as “front page” of my site or a different page as front page.

if i do change the welcome page in settings>reading> to be the “post page”, the the “older pages” shows up.

problem is: i cannot have the welcome page as “post page” and “front page” at the same time…

question is: how do i get the “older posts” to show up at the bottom of my “welcome” page and use this page as front page?

using WordPress 3.5.1. with the theme twenty eleven 1.5

thank you for any ideas or solutions, jens
